The annotated bibliography includes books by some of my favorite Vietnamese writers, like Nguyen Huy Thiep and Le Minh Khue, titles by brilliant Westerners who wrote wartime classics (Graham Greene, Michael Herr, Tim O’Brien), and the names of some wonderful young Vietnamese-American writers just beginning to publish, like Dao Strom and le thi diem thuy.
